Terms of Service

The rules that govern your use of fanfa.dev.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using fanfa.dev, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Who we are

fanfa.dev is owned and operated by an independent developer based in Brazil. I am a solo developer building tools for the community. You can reach me at [email protected].

2. Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. We use Clerk for user authentication and identity management. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

We use Stripe to process payments. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees indicated.

  • Processing: Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: As an indie developer, I want you to be happy with the product. If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

4. User Content

You retain all rights and ownership of the content you create, upload, or store on fanfa.dev. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a license to host and display your content solely as necessary to provide the service to you.

5. Content Guidelines

We reserve the right to remove any content that is offensive, illegal, violates the rights of others, or violates good moral standards, at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, harassment, and sexually explicit material.

6. Service Limits and Data Retention

To ensure the sustainability of the service, we apply the following retention policies:

  • Free Plan: Shared URLs and associated content are retained for 15 days. After this period, they may be permanently deleted.
  • Paid Plan: Shared URLs are retained indefinitely while your subscription is active.
  • Inactive Data: We reserve the right to delete any content stored in our database that has not been accessed for more than 90 days, regardless of your plan tier, to maintain service performance.

7. Analytics and Logs

To improve the service and fix bugs, we use third-party tools:

  • PostHog: We use PostHog to collect usage metrics to understand how users interact with the app.
  • Sentry: We use Sentry to collect error logs which help me identify and fix bugs faster.

8. Limitation of Liability

fanfa.dev is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I (the developer) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

9. Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, I will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the site. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
